Windows 10: How To Enable Hibernate In Windows Power Options Menu

Here is how to enable the handy "Hibernate"

  1. Open "Windows Settings" (Windows Key + I)

  2. Select System, then Power & Sleep, then Additional Power Settings

  3. In the new window, click "Choose what the power buttons do"

4. Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable"



5. This now opens up the ability to check the "Hibernate" box under "Shutdown settings"
